Meet Our Team
Dr. Victoria Demorrow
Veterinarian
Dr. Victoria DeMorrow is a Georgia native, growing up in the Hickory Flat area. She does not remember a time when she did not want to be a veterinarian. Her love and devotion for animals and their care has always been an important part of her life. She holds bachelor’s degrees in both Animal Health and Animal Science from the University of Georgia, where she also graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She has been with Mill Creek since 2013 and loves the relationship that she has developed with her clients and their pets. Her medical special interests include preventative medicine, wound management, and dentistry. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters, reading, cooking, and starting too many art projects. Music is always playing when she is at home and she enjoys all genres. Her home is full of animals (of course!) with her dachshunds, Franklin and Linus, terrier mix, Chicken Nugget, and her 3 cats, Dante, Etta, and Theodore.

Veronica
Hospital Manager
A proud Florida native, Veronica Peralta brings over a decade of experience in veterinary medicine and a lifelong passion for animal care to her role as Hospital Manager. Her journey began in high school, where she took veterinary assisting classes and participated in FFA, sparking a deep commitment to the field. Veronica earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Health and Behavior from Unity Environmental University and thrives on building strong relationships with clients and their pets, assisting in surgery, and leading her team with innovation and heart.
Outside of the hospital, Veronica and her wife enjoy trips to Disney World, attending sporting events (though their house is a fun rivalry since her wife is from Georgia!), and spending quality time with their families. At home, they care for a lively menagerie of pets—4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 ferrets, a parrot, a mini pig, a bearded dragon, frogs, and fish—lovingly referred to as “the zoo
Tari
Registered Veterinary Technician
Hi, I’m Tari! I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals — from cats and goats to turkeys and geese — so becoming a veterinary technician felt like a natural path. After 10 years in the veterinary field and over 2 years as a technician, I’ve found true joy in caring for patients and supporting their families. Outside the clinic, you’ll find me hiking, reading, tending to my plants, or spending time with my husband, and our two kids, two dogs, two cats, and two lizards.

Courtni
Veterinary Assistant
Hello! My name is Courtni, and I've been here at Mill Creek since 2016. I've always had a passion for animals since I was very young, and got myself started in the field shortly after graduating UGA. While I have no pets myself, I do love and treat all of the patients we see as if they are my own. Outside of work you can find me reading, solving puzzle games, or browsing online.

Vanessa
Veterinary Assistant
Hi, I’m Vanessa, and I’ve been in this field for 10 years, working in small animal clinics. My passion for this field began when I was seven, after my family’s dog became very ill. I’ll never forget how compassionate and understanding our veterinarian was. That experience inspired me to be that same source of support for others. Even though this job can be tough, I love being there for clients and their pets… and the adorable puppies definitely help! When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two sons, and our cat Sushi.

Nia
Receptionist
Hello, I’m Nia! I'm a Client Services Representative and Veterinary Assistant in training here at Mill Creek Animal Hospital, where I get to combine my love for animals with helping clients every day. I share my home with two dogs and two cats, and I’m passionate about dog sports and dog shows—there’s nothing I love more than training, competing, and celebrating my dogs’ accomplishments.
Sheila
Receptionist
Hello, I’m Sheila! With a diverse background in education, emergency services, and animal care, I bring a unique blend of compassion, patience, and calm under pressure to the veterinary field. I spent over 20 years as a preschool teacher and later served as a 911 operator before transitioning into the veterinary industry, where I’ve proudly worked for the past three years. Supporting both pets and their people has been incredibly rewarding. Outside of work, I’m a proud parent of two amazing adult children and am always accompanied by my loyal sidekick, Taz, who joins me at the clinic every day.
